Yan Wang
Made and grew up in Beijing, China. Currently majoring in Printmaking in Maryland Institute College of Art, with a concentration in Book Art, expected BFA degree by 2022.
Always have been a slave of texture, and a seeker for narratives. Art is a type of communication, and I crave to learn how to utilize this language better. I started with a focus on illustration, which I'm still doing today but not full time, later switched to focus on Printmaking.
Animated film is another form I consider a great niche for storytelling contents. Building it with a wide range of images created by printing is one main content I'm working on.
I am always a curious person, and a full-time learner.
Open for all kinds of challenges, requests, commissions, and opportunities.
